Four dads / coaches met over coffee to read, pray and ask some hard questions. Can we influence youth sports culture to build excellent people while building excellent teams? Can we pursue the BEST of both? Can we win on and off the field?
It's a huge challenge, you "IN" ?
All four responded, "I'm In!" We went to a weekend conference in Texas with Joe Ehrmann.
Everything gets bigger in Texas. We came home with the goal of hosting our own weekend event.
How do we inspire great leadership? Servant leaders are grateful and humble. They are the catalyst for greatness. True greatness grows from a humble heart. Humility is grounded in gratitude. If we can refocus youth sports to build men and women for others, we will build greatness in each other and our communities. "Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve." How MLK.

I'm In Coaching BEST was founded with a vision of building men and women for others who have a passion greater than self.
FOUNDER
- We start with discovering your strengths and your passion.
- We partner with a sustainable service / ministry partner that will utilize both.
- We direct logistics and mentor teams through their service adventure. Every team member emerges from their adventure knowing their character strengths, the skills to lead next year’s trip and a passion greater than self.
- We walk forward with you as the rest of your story is written.
When I’m In Coaching BEST started bringing teams to Haiti, students were orphaned, starving, broken, living in mud huts without much hope. NVM was already strongly leading by bringing light into their darkness and hope into their lives through founding an orphanage, school and church. The students and families of Chambrun showed us unspeakable joy, grit and faith. Every spring break and summer we walked with them for the next 12 years. Over 20 trips with 800 team mates we were part of some amazing work.
- We helped complete a 6,000 sq ft. medical / nutritional / family planning / dental / eye clinic
- We built 7 homes and a community center.
- We helped fund and build a high school launching students from poverty into trade schools and the middle class.
- We helped fund and build the gates and wall protecting the ministry from the gangs now terrorizing the country.
- We built 4 community soccer fields in neighboring villages.
All the infrastructure projects we completed in Chambrun propelled this community to be stronger and more effective in realizing its mission, especially when we were not there.Four dads / coaches met over coffee to read, pray and ask some hard questions.
